Meet Gerard Cabellon aka Kid Tek: the b-boy repping Australia for the 2024 Olympics in Breaking
From the streets of New York in the late 1960s, to the Olympic stage, breakdancing will make its debut as an Olympic sport in the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
Coming from the success it received from the 2018 Youth Olympics, breakdancing has been chosen as a new sport alongside surfing, skateboarding, and sport climbing. 16 men and 16 women will go head-to-head in solo battles to home the gold, silver, and bronze medal for their country.
