Every year an estimated twenty seven thousand babies are born prematurely. Tragically, one thousand of these newborns will succumb to complications directly related to an early birth. Established in 2005, The Miracle Babies Foundation provides support and advocacy to families at their most vulnerable. On the eve of World Prematurity Day, Tess spoke to Co-founder of the foundation Melinda Cruz on working through the emotional hardships of having a premature baby.
