Melbourne launches playbook to combat disinformation in cities

The spread of disinformation has become a growing problem globally.
The University of Melbourne has launched the ‘Disinformation in the City’ playbook to help local governments combat disinformation.
The playbook outlines a three-phase strategy emphasising the importance of early detection and community trust.
I spoke with University of Melbourne researcher Ika Trijsburg about the growing concern that is disinformation.
