Memes: Can You Be Funny Without Breaking The Law?

Meme culture has long been enrooted in our use of social media. Designed for a bit of light-hearted fun, memes have served to lift the moods of the masses. However, those who create the memes do face some legal difficulty if they use images that they don’t have permission to use, landing them in a whole world of intellectual property trouble. Even worse, many meme creators don’t even realize that the memes they are creating are actually being created illegally.
