It’s Mental Health Week so here’s a question for you, how does your workplace handle mental health?

62 per cent of patient visits are mental health related according to a new report by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

And although the majority of visits to the GP are bulk billed through Medicare, doctors are urging for more government funding to cover patients’ out-pocket-costs for the often longer and more complex consultation times for mental health related visits.

So could improving the way mental health and employee wellbeing are approached and handled in the workplace help the case in any way?
