Microaggressions as Experienced by the Asian-Australian Community
2020 was kind enough to bring us the coronavirus pandemic, and with it, a surge in anti-Asian sentiment in Australia. However, trying to tackle the age-old giant issue of racism is daunting so we tried to start small – literally.
In the studio to discuss microaggressions with our host Jarred Cross was Asami Koike, founder and frontrunner of Shapes and Sounds, an online platform dedicated to promoting and supporting mental health awareness within the Asian-Australian community.
