Making your Christmas List? Better check it twice as the microchip supply shortage will affect Santa too.

The global microchip shortage has been wreaking havoc among the technology supply chains and the world first noticed it with the highly anticipated launch of the Playstation 5 last year. Now it is affecting all tech companies from gaming consoles to cars to home appliances. If it uses a microchip it’s going to be harder to source Christmas presents this year. We were joined by Professor Michael Volkov from Macquarie Uni’s business school to talk about how this is going to affect the average consumer.
