Middle Kids On ‘Faith Crisis Pt.1’, US Touring and Growth

Middle Kids are a band that, at their core, is somewhat synonymous with classic Aussie indie rock. With their heartfelt lyrics and energetic instrumentation, they’ve solidified their place in the Aussie music scene, becoming one of the most recognisable names in Indie Rock.

Following the release of their 3rd album Faith Crisis Pt 1, they’re heading on a national tour next month before taking off to the US.

Faith Crisis Pt 1 is a 13-track collection of emotive and ecstatic tracks that challenge beliefs. It’s full of yearning, angst and love, and it’s (in my opinion) their best one yet. It highlights the growth and comfort that only years in the industry can bring you – in a way that is accomplished, recognised and whole-hearted.

Middle Kids first showed up on the scene back in 2017 with their debut single Edge of Town which has seen them tour with artists like Bloc Party, Kings of Leon, War on Drugs and more recently, Manchester Orchestra and Jimmy Eat World.

Lead Vocalist and Guitarist Hannah Joy joined Dream State Host Jasmin Williams this week to chat all about touring with kids, their upcoming Aussie tour and their brand new album ‘Faith Crisis Pt. 1’.

They’ve sold out the Enmore Theatre, but tickets are still available for their show at the Liberty Hall on the 8th of June. Grab your tickets here.

You can also grab a copy of their latest album Faith Crisis Pt.1 at all good record stores, or stream online here.
