Midwives could be Key to Preventing Alcohol & Drug use in Pregnant Women

An initiative in South Australia is exploring the role midwives can play in promoting public health measures, supporting pregnant women to abstain from drugs and alcohol.
The study uses a collaborative, multi-tiered approach between experts from the University of Adelaide, Flinders University, and the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network.
