Minimum Wage to Increase as Unemployment Rate Drops
Labour figures released today by the ABS show that unemployment rates have fallen over the last month from 5.5% to 5.1%.
The recent drop comes after the The Fair Work Commission announced a 2.5 per cent increase in the minimum wage, which will take the income of Australia’s lowest paid workers to $20.33 an hour.
