Jet City Sports Club and Le Pie – Botany View Hotel (9/4)

Sydney rockers Jet city sports club are playing along with Le Pie at the Botany view hotel, the show is free, and you are free to have a dance! Oscar had a little chat with the band, and they shed light on how it feels to have their debut EP, September, out and why you should come along to their show this Friday at the Botany view. 

Jet City Sports club have a bit of a Britpop flair to them, lots of strung out, dreamy, reverb filled guitar melodies, well worth checking out if you are a fan of bands like Green Buzzard and DMAS. 

The Melodrones – The Lansdowne Hotel- (9/4)  

Next up, we have one of Oscars favourite Sydney bands, the Melodrones, they’ll be playing as part of the graveyard series at the Lansdowne hotel at midnight with fellow Sydney band the Salarymen and Radio Free Alice. Oscar had a chat with the band’s lead singer, Mr Rik Saunders, about why people should coming along and a little bit about their new releases on the way. 

The Melodrones ooze coolness and are well worth checking out if you are a fan of bands like the Jesus and Mary Chain and Echo and the Bunnymen.
