In the week gone past, Monday Daily gig guide host Oscar and Jarred went to a gig for the first time together on Wednesday, heading to the factory theatre to see Gareth Liddiard of tropical fuck storm and the drones’ solo show. Oscar also went along to PressureFest at the Marlobourgh hotel on Saturday night, catching Shady Nasty, Crocodylus and These New South Whales.

Now first up this week, young Sydney indie rockers Transparency playing upstairs at the Lord Gladstone hotel in Good space, supported by Moon, with the event will kicking off at 7 pm. Oscar had a little chat with Mitchel, the bands lead singer, about their new single Wild Thing and why people should come along to the show.

Graveyard shift – Friday (30th) – Prudence x Angeles – The Lansdowne

Head down to the Lansdowne hotel this Friday for another instalment of the Graveyard series, with bands kicking off at 11 pm. Angeles used to be in Sydney indie-rock duo Betty and Oswald, and this is his solo project. Drawing heavy influence from bands like the pixies and sonic youth, definitely check the show out if you are 90’s alternative rock fan.
