More children and teenagers are self-harming due to COVID-19

Since the start of the pandemic and extended lockdowns across the country, there has been an increase in the number of children and teenagers self-harming.
NSW has recorded a rise of presentations in emergency departments for self-harm and suicidal episodes of young people by 31 per cent.
