More Civil Societies – Economy or Society?
Are we living in an economy or a society? Eva suggests that during this pandemic, the society has taken a back seat to the economy.
We are consumers and customers, as social issues no longer dominate policy debate or media coverage, rather, just the numbers are getting the limelight – numbers of infections, number of death, number of jobs lost.
So much of what we take for granted in daily life are socially based. When will be back living in a society, if ever?
