Julie Macken believes this to be a selfish act, forgetting that they are supposed to serve and look after the people of Australia. “Politicians are there to serve us, they are public servants. They don’t get to spit the dummy because they reckon they are a better boss than someone else. We really need to hold them to account,” she says.
