More Civil Societies – Opportunity for change

This week on More Civil Societies Julie Macken reminds us of the old saying, ‘nothing changes when nothing changes’, but in a time when we’re told that everything is changing, what does this mean?
Julie proposes the idea that we will either come out of this pandemic with a huge opportunity to shape our society and change it for the better, or, that it could induce much more of the same neo-liberal ideas and policy of the last century.
Could we be heading into a new way of working, socialising and living in the future? Or are we going to see a continuation of aggressive neo-liberal values? What can we do to shape the world we want to see?
