The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences is hosting a symposium called “Media, Publics and the Past”. To be held at the Powerhouse Museum at Ultimo, the bill features academics, media producers, historians and curators discussing how we’ve arrived at the media industry we have. They may also have some ideas about how the past, might help us predict the media of the future.
Jess Smalley spoke to Dr Justine Lloyd from Macquarie University, who is one of the symposium’s organisers.
