Movie Binge – EXTREME?!
Can you imagine watching the same movie, over, and over, and over, and over again? Every week? For one year? No? Well perhaps that’s because you’re not completely mad like these two kiwi comedians whose podcast, “The Worst Idea of All Time” have them watching and reviewing the same film every week for a year. Guy Montgomery and Tim Batt have watched Grown Ups 2 and Sex and the City 2, 52 damn times and have just embarked on the third season, with the buff bro Zac Efron in “We are your friends”.
It must take a special brand of friends to embark on this kind of madness, with Tim and Guy making sure to do a viewing of the film every week even when they are in different countries.
Now they have come into some well deserved success especially amongst an American audience, with a per-episode listenership reaching 20,000. Mitch was joined by Tim Batt, one half of the comedy duo, to talk about a concept that seemed to be the worst idea of all time.
