Movie Reviews with Glen Falkenstein
It’s Thursday, time for movie reviews with Michael Jones! Except today it’s not Michael Jones, it’s Glen Falkenstein! Glen heads up 2ser’s on Film Fight Club every Wednesday night at 7.30pm.
This week Glen dissected the remake of Stephen King’s IT. Glen wasn’t particularly impressed with the IT reboot’s scare factor, and feels the movie is receiving a bit more praise than it deserves. The performance of Stephen Lily stood out amongst a group of forgettable performances. Ultimately, Glen left the cinema feeling empty inside, after his high hopes were squashed.
Glen also encouraged people to get out to the Sydney Underground Film Festival, where some of the best up and coming Sydney-based filmmakers are on show.
