Multiple dams to safeguard against future droughts

Australia is currently experiencing one of its worst droughts in recorded history due to the lack of rain all winter and climate change. Just recently in response to these droughts the CSIRO have released a report that suggests several giant dams can be built all around the Northern Territory, Queensland and Western Australia to combat future drought issues. These Dams can not only boost agricultural productions but help the economy while creating 15,000 jobs in the process. 2SER was joined by Professor Wayne Meyer from Adelaide University and former Deputy Chief and Business Director for CSIRO of Land and Water to discuss more.
