The Royal Commission into the Murray-Darling basins, created to watch over water usage within the basin, has produced some pretty shocking results. The commissioner in charge of the Royal Commission Bret Walker has gone so far as to say the Authorities in charge of the basin showed “gross negligence” and “maladministration”. Worse still, the political response has been decidedly indifferent.
