Murray-Darling Rivers Rejoin after Years of Drought

Communities along the Murray-Darling are rejoicing as, for the first time in two years, water flowing down the Darling has joined back up with the Murray just 90km upstream from Wentworth. Farmers, fishers, and locals all round are excited to see signs of a healthy river, and relief to their livelihoods after years of drought.

Phillip Glyde, Chief Executive of the Murray Darling Basin Authority joined Drive to weigh in on the subject.
