NAIDOC 2019 Scholar of the Year: Michael McDaniel

Today on Breakfast we were joined by a very special guest, we had UTS Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Indigenous Leadership and Engagement Michael McDaniel, recipient of the NAIDOC 2019 Scholar of the Year Award.
McDaniel is a member of the Wiradjuri Nation, from the Central NSW town of Forbes.
In his role as Pro-Vice-Chancellor Michael works offering advice to UTS’ executive, including working on many initiatives relating to the inclusion on Indigenous people in the tertiary education system.
