NASA Wins Interstellar DART Competition
Humans have taken a step closer to being in a science fiction movie by successfully testing a new high tech asteroid redirection satellite.
NASA’S DART (Double Asteroid Redirection Test) satellite rammed into an asteroid 176,000 km away from earth at a speed of 22,500 kilometers per hour.
The DART’s flawless test opens up avenues for more asteroid redirection experiments, we speak to an expert to see other ways an asteroid can change course.
