National Bandanna Day
Today is the last Friday of October and on this day every year we celebrate and recognise National Bandanna Day. On this day all over Australia, people purchase and wear bandannas to support and raise money and awareness for Canteen Australia. Since Bandanna day began, it has raised more than 33 million dollars to support young people who are affected by cancer. With these funds, Canteen Australia is able to support our young people throughout the nation who suffer from cancer and help build coping skills and resilience for these young people that will last a lifetime. Joshua Bell, the youth ambassador for Canteen Australia joins us to discuss National Bandanna Day and his experiences with this significant day.
