National Cabinet secrecy from Albanese ‘hypocrisy’
National Cabinet met on Wednesday this week for the second time since Labor Leader Anthony Albanese became Prime Minister.
But questions are being raised about the secrecy remaining around the group made up of federal, state and territory leaders.
When Scott Morrison was Prime Minister and created National Cabinet, he declared it was exempt from Freedom of Information laws because it fell under ‘cabinet secrecy’.
Then Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese was extremely critical at the time, but seems to have changed his tune.
