Natural disasters forcing Australians to relocate

1 in 25 Australians are at risk of being impacted by natural disasters and communities are being forced to relocate, according to new research.

The threats of bushfires and intense flooding are becoming a regular part of life for many Australians has revealed the need for strategies relocating communities in at-risk areas.

Fiona Bartholomaeus asked Head of Disaster Solutions at ANU Associate Professor Roslyn Prinsley, how widespread the affected communities considered to be at risk.
