Need for Nuclear Research in Australia

Australia is falling behind in nuclear research, this means that in order to find likely renewable options we must stay engaged with the current nuclear research. Predictions indicate that nuclear will still remain important beyond 2040. To keep Australia in the loop of nuclear research Generation IV reactors must be considered. A new line of reactors to keep Australia in the loop of technological developments in nuclear power. The Daily was joined by Associate Professor of Physics, Heiko Timmers from UNSW who explained more.
