Never Closer is a multi-award nominated play set against the backdrop of The Irish Troubles. It’s a tender exploration of love, forgiveness, home and whether we choose to stay or go.

It’s playing now at the Belvoir Theatre’s mainstage till 16th June, after its debut season at Belvoir’s Downstairs Theatre in 2022. Never Closer is directed by Hannah Goodwin, and written by emerging playwright Grace Chapple, who joins Danny Chifley on the 2ser Breakfast Show.
