New Amendments to the Abortion Law Reform Bill

The battle to approve the Abortion Reform Bill has been continuing in the Upper House of NSW Parliament as it is creates greater division within Gladys Berejiklian’s Liberal Party.
The New South Wales Upper House passed an amendment to the bill on Wednesday night, from 26 votes to 15, stating that Doctors must ensure care to babies that are born after a termination.
This amendment was one of the four amendments rebel liberal MPs Tanya Davies and Kevin Conolly are calling for warning they will cross the front bench over it.
