New Australian series, Safe Harbour
For nearly two decades, this country has wrestled with the arguments about its treatment of asylum-seekers. Orwellian notions like the “Pacific Solution” and “Operation Sovereign Borders” have been among the terms used to describe government policies. Dealing with these issues, SBS in its new drama Safe Harbour, tests our notions of hospitality on an individual level in a thrilling four-part series. Wednesday Drive spoke to Steven Corvini, one of the producers of the show.
