New changes to Australia’s migration System

This month, the budget was handed down with some changes to Australia’s migration system.
There will be 190,000 places allocated in the Permanent migration program- with 137,100 allocated to the skilled migration program.
Other changes include, applying for an Australian visa to get more expensive from 1 July 2023. As well as Student visa work restrictions to be capped at an increased rate of 48 hours per fortnight from 1 July 2023.
