New Galaxy Sends Milky Way Theories Spiralling

It seems so Australian to pack up all your gear, head on a camping trip and fall asleep gazing up at the Milky Way. If you’re a bit of a stargazer or a budding astronomer you might’ve wondered how that sparkling belt of stars got to be there in the first place. Well, one Sydney scientist has just discredited the last firm theory we had, suggesting it might have been a more peaceful process than we initially thought.
