New music: Blood Orange, The Julie Ruin, and Neil Young

UK born, New York based producer Blood Orange aka Dev Hynes mixes 80s style pop-funk and soul with silky synth ballads and clubby disco in a personal and political offering Freetown Sound.

The Julie Ruin’s Kathleen Hanna, who is also the frontperson of Bikini Kill and Le Tigre, delivers Hit Reset.

With lyricism and new interpretations, Neil Young and Promise of the Real bring songs of farmers, food, and mother nature on Earth.
