New Music: Cass McCombs, Angel Olsen and The Moles

Mangy Love is the eighth album by California-based singer songwriter, Cass McCombs. The album is generally softly winding and languid, merging smellow soul with jam-style rock for his most vertly beautiful set yet. Chicago-based singer-songwriter, Angel Olsen, is back with her fourth album, My Woman. These are winningly winsome love songs, rooted in the songs of longing from the girl-great groups of the 60s. Boston’s The Moles are back after 20 years with Tonight’s Music. The off-kilter post-Beatles melodies, tripped out lyrics and as anything-can-go approach, will have you nodding along too.
