Originally a project from Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and The National’s Aaron Dessner, the duo’s second album How Long Do You Think It’s Gonna Last? sees the pair open their studio doors and invite the voices of Taylor Swift, Robin Pecknold, and Sharon Van Etten and many more into the mix. A sense of communal creativity flows through this record, as the many voices of Vernon, Dessner, et al reflect on love, family, and childhood.

Regrowth, the debut album from Brisbane house producer and DJ Sampology (Sam Poggioli), is one to check out this week. Written and recorded during the 2019 bushfires, the record sees Sampology record and sample his live band and choir to create blissful dance music that reflects on our relation to nature. A confident and mature work from an upcoming Australian musician.
