New photography competition open to young snappers
Sony’s Alpha Awards are looking for the next big youth photographer. They’ve opened up a new youth category giving a chance for budding youth photographers between 11-18 years old to show off their skills and be in the running for some solid prizes.
The competition will be judged by travel influencer and Instagram celebrity Tyson Mayr who gave Nic the lowdown on why he thinks it’s important to give a boost to the next generation of photographers.
The photo can be taken on any device, whether that’s a camera, tablet or smartphone, and to enter, just upload to Instagram using the hashtag #AlphaAwardsYouth and tagging @sonyaustralia. Just remember to be inspired by the chosen theme:‘Gritty’.
