New Scholarship Provides Hope For Rural Students
With the new university year slowly creeping up on us, rural STEM students are given a helping hand with their studies.
With recent estimates noting the need for 1 million more graduates with STEM degrees in the next decade, the new Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarships Program has been introduced in an effort to improve access to STEM tertiary education for students in rural and remote areas of Australia.
To discuss with us how this new scholarship program can provide new hope for Australia’s rural students, we were joined by Senior Lecturer of the School of Environmental and Life Sciences, Dr. Hannah Power.
