A New Twist on Fusion Power

Nuclear Fusion in the past has often seemed like an unobtainable goal in the fight for clean, limitless energy. However, new technology has laid the foundations for this seemingly impossible idea becoming a reality, with two different experimental fusion reactors under construction in Germany and France. With plans for the plants to be in operation by 2021, we ask, is it possible that we could have future of clean limitless energy.

Associate Professor Matthew Hole of the Plasma Research Laboratory at the Australian National University spoke to The Daily about what this could mean in future.
