New Zealand to make platforms to pay for news content

New Zealand is looking to introduce a bill where Google and Facebook would pay media outlets for news content.
The bill is followed by a similar one from Australia in 2021, which initially Facebook refused and blocked all news content from its platform.
But will there be any benefit for New Zealand’s media?
