Northern Territory to Ban Alcohol Amid Crime Wave

Alcohol restrictions have been proposed for parts of the Northern Territory amid a surge in crime in Alice Springs and other cities and towns in the top end.
The recent ‘crime wave’ has been highly publicized, leading Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to host a delegation in the territory announcing the new policies.
Concerns have been raised over the effectiveness of this policy, and if the policy itself is discriminatory.
