Not News is our weekly segment where we talk about the news that shouldn’t have made headlines, and the news that should have made headlines but didn’t. In this week’s Not News, Nancy Brophy made news for being charged for murdering 63 year old husband after writing a blog post in 2011 entitled “how to murder your husband”, a woman was left with severe injuries after mistaking a candle for dynamite, and a new solution to Dubai’s water shortage could see an iceberg transported from Antarctica to Dubai… possibly with a stopover in Cape Town or Perth.

And, as an aside to the release of 3 new iPhones and an Apple watch this week, what was overlooked was the huge environmental impact that producing iPhones is having on our planet, with 34 kilograms worth of raw material being used to make every Apple iPhone.
