NSW and Queensland to ban ChatGPT in public schools
New South Wales and Queensland have announced they will be restricting access to artificial intelligence software in public schools, citing concerns the software can facilitate cheating.
Included in this ban is the recently released ChatGPT, a predictive text generating software that produces text on any subject based on a user’s prompt.
Leading Australian universities, have announced they will be using more supervised assessments and pen and paper exams in 2023 to manage AI’s impact on education.
