NSW budget doubles funding for farmers, but will it be enough?
NSW farmers have been facing a drought crisis and, in their latest budget the state government has almost doubled funding to support farmers and their families, increasing financial and mental health support, providing additional funds for three new Doppler radars and introducing measures to improve kangaroo management.To tell us more about the drought crisis, and whether these latest funds are welcome news for farmers, Tess Connery was joined by Sonia O’Keefe, Chair of the NSW Farmers Rural Affairs Committee.
