Doctors Continue Striking for Better Conditions and Pay

Doctors in New South Wales are continuing to strike for better working conditions and pay, after failing to reach an agreement with The New South Wales Government on Monday.
Yesterday saw the beginning of a three day stint of industrial action, in which the vast majority of elective surgeries were cancelled and the treatment of many chemotherapy patients were cancelled.
The Union believes that a wage increase will help to attract more doctors to New South Wales’ understaffed hospitals.
