NSW Labor Planning to Axe Scripture in Schools
Scripture classes being included in the curriculum of public schools could soon be a thing of the past in NSW. The NSW Labor left faction has announced their plan to propose the removal of these classes from the curriculum in Labor’s annual state conference, which has already garnered a lot of attention from both supporters and opponents of the idea.
The Daily spoke with Darrin Morgan, a spokesperson for the parents advocacy group Fairness in Religions in School, to talk about Labor’s plan to end scripture classes in public schools.
