NSW parliament inquiry in alcohol advertising

In late september NSW parliament announced they would hold an inquiry for Alcohol-related advertisements from supermarkets, retailers and Sports companies.

There is a recognition that a significant proportion of advertisements reaches children and influences a high consumption of alcohol.

Justin Field is a member of the NSW legislative council and the Greens Alcohol Harm spokesperson. He spoke to Nic about the push the inquiry and the issues at hand.

The hearing will take place tomorrow, December 1st. Submissions are available online.
