NSW Rugby League has a women’s leadership program which aims to provide aspiring elite female coaches and women in a variety of roles in sporting organisations with further knowledge to excel as leaders. The program ran successfully last year with one of the graduates being NSW Sky Blues women’s Origin coach Kylie Hidler. This year instead of just focusing on NRL, they’ve decided to include a multitude of sports including basketball, gymnastics, snow sports and wheelchair basketball.
