Nuclear weapons test survivor speaks at fifth Yami Lester Memorial Address
A First Nations woman who survived the fallout from British nuclear tests at Maralinga, South Australia, is urging the federal government to uphold their recent commitments to abolish nuclear weapons.
Kokatha Elder, Sue Haseldine, is an ambassador for the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, and she spoke at the Fifth Yami Lester Memorial Address in Alice Springs over the weekend.
