The ocean is alive with the sound of music
Ever dunked your head underwater in the ocean and thought ‘what the heck is that sound’?
The ocean is not only vast in species and depth, but too in the diverse range of sounds that give it it’s own unique acoustic.
This goes beyond the sounds of smashing waves and whale calls, to the sounds emitted from some of the world’s smallest organisms.
But what do these sounds say about the wellness of the ocean? And what would happen if our oceans became too quiet?
